Lesson times vary depending on the lesson content. They will be either 30, 45 or 60 minutes. Most are 60 minutes long.

Yes, your first lesson is a free trial lesson/assessment as required.
Lesson Preparation
-
Parents should help your child to set up their device and make sure the webcam, speaker, and microphone are functioning properly.
Headphones with microphone are advised to be used.
Students can enter the classroom 10 minutes before the lessons start. You are advised to enter the classroom early.
ClassIn will not allow a student to enter the virtual classroom if they are more than 30 minutes late for the lesson.
Make sure your child has the necessary stationery and print out of any required material.
Necessary lesson material will be provided in the “course” tab or, in some cases, sent via the classroom chat box no later than one day before each lesson.
-
You can try to log in and enter the class your child is assigned to. If you still experience difficulties joining the class, please contact the teacher in the classroom chat and he/she will try to assist you to re-enter the class.
Please be advised that:
We strongly encourage that all other applications be closed during lesson time. The teacher may enforce classroom “focus mode” which means that students will be unable to access other apps during lesson time, unless allowed by the teacher.
If you exit the lesson during any over-time class period, the app will not allow you to re-enter the classroom. Please note, that by this time, the class will have ended and any extra time will have been ‘free talk’ time. Any further communication needed can be done in the lesson chat after the lesson.
-
Yes, absolutely, you may join the class to assist or to help your child on the application, but we would like the student to have as much autonomy as possible to make them feel comfortable and encourage interaction with the tutor in English.
